ROLE SUMMARY
The driver is responsible for operating a hospital and ambulance vehicle for administrative outreach and clinical services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate repair services on mobile clinic vans and all agency vehicles.
Perform basic record keeping duties
Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections.
Ensure the vehicle/ambulance/van is fully operational.
Properly maintains vehicle cleanliness.
Ensure schedule required service and repairs with the transport/Security Manager.
Report all accidents or incidents immediately as and when they occur to the supervisor and follow due process.
Maintain updated travel log to record areas traveled to, travel time, and work hours
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
Education:
Minimum KCSE certificate
Valid driving license classes BCE
Good knowledge of highway laws Code and other Kenya traffic laws applicable to commercial operations
First aid knowledge
Certificate of good conduct
Passed suitability test grade (III)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years driving experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Good organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work at odd hours and / or travel at short notice
Excellent communication skills
Excellent Customer Service skills
Honesty and should have high integrity
Must be reliable
